Martin is one of the best instructors i have ever come across! He was patient kind and gave me the confidence i needed to drive, A few years prior i had been with another driving company but i felt i was treated as just another statistic rather than having the real attention i needed, because of this i was to scared to drive again. However my first lesson with Martin was a game changer and i realized i enjoyed driving i just needed someone to believe in me and understand my individual learning needs because i am dyslexic and have slight dyspraxia. Martin is a brilliant instructor with great prices compared to other companies and he tailors the lessons to fit your ability. He's very easy to get along with and great at helping to boost your confidence!

The duel controls in the car are a real comfort too because you know the car can be stopped if its dangerous and if you keep stalling at a dangerous part of the road martin can step in to help. I 100% would recommend taking lessons with him, thanks Love to Drive!

I went with Love to Drive as as I heard about it through a family friend, it was my second instructor and I found him very relaxing and very easy to get along with. He also put thing in the easiest way so you can understand and if your not sure about anything he is more than happy to keep going over things until you do. Was a great experience being taught by Martin, had a great laugh and as soon as I met him felt comfortable in his company. He also explains things in great detail so I could fully understand and if I still didn't understand he would think of different ways to explain it.

He always has a lot of patience and not once did I feel he was getting annoyed. Such a nice laid back guy.

When you have to consider driving again after a considerable time away from the road there is no point in getting one of your friends / relatives to take you out as their driving has probably changed over the years to meet the challenges of today. They tend to expect too much and this can lead to friction and worse.

I decided to have an assessment with a fully trained driving instructor, and was lucky enough to have a friend recommend Love to Drive.

Martin my instructor appreciated the fact that I was aware of the basics but ensured I was introduced gradually into the mayhem of today's roads and drivers, relaxed but thorough he took me through the various problems and the driving style which has changed over the years, he also took some time to acquaint me with all the gadgets that make driving so much easier today.

Without Martin's help I literally would be a fish out of water but now I know what to expect and how to cope, the whole experience was enjoyable and at times quiet funny, I really think this is the approach to getting back on the road, which is well worth the outlay.

Martin teaches at a rate thats suited to the learner , teaching each skill at the pace required for the learner and not just following a script/book. You learn fast as the teaching methods are great but you dont miss anything out. I Looked forward to your lessons as the instructor is a genuine down to earth guy who is easy to spend 1 hour + plus with, which is different from some instructors as some seem to get a rep for shouting etc .

Best part of my experience would probably be that he taught me so well i passed with only 2 minors first attempt.

I was pushed for time due to my theory test expiring, but Martin was so relaxed and showed me how to complete maneuvers (that I had found tricky) with ease.
